Baby doesn’t like solids?!

My 7mo is just not that into solids and only wants to nurse! Is this normal or is anyone else in the same boat?

Normal. Some babies just arent interested. Any time you sit down to eat I would give a spoon/fork and plate to just play with and be included.

My boobie baby wasn’t thrilled with solids until she was like 1 1/2 and didn’t start eating 3 full meals a day until after she turned 2.
At 7 months she’d take a few bites of this or that but mostly she just nursed 😊

I’ve heard some bf babies who aren’t interested in solids until 8 or 9 months... so I think it can be normal

My EBF baby has been addicted to solids since 7 months. She eats so so much. 😂 It’s completely normal if they’re not though!

Yeah my son wasn’t huge on solids or purees at first. He didn’t really get into purees until he was 10 or 11 months old and then got more into solids closer to 14-15 months. We stopped breastfeeding at 18 months and by then he was all about solids. He’s 2.5 now and we haven’t found a food he doesn’t like, he’ll try pretty much anything.

My daughter is 6 months, formula fed and has zero interest in solids. I’m not concerned. Babies only need formula or breast milk for the first 12 months.

My son refused to eat anything but breastmilk/formula until he was 10 months. His pediatrician wasn’t concerned since he was still a healthy weight and growing.
