Soooo swollen!! What should I do ??

I’ve been sitting down re twisting my hair and my feet started to hurt I looked down and was like wow 😮 I have a slight headache it’s goin to my eye but nun to serious. 34 weeks btw

I would call your doctor. My midwife had me come in because I had a 5 day migraine and apparently it’s a sign of preeclampsia which I didn’t know! I don’t have it thank goodness but I’d rather you tell them what’s going on versus just resting and getting worse Hunnie.

I voted before I read your post. I’d definitely call your OB. It could be high blood pressure since you have a headache

Yes! May not be related to blood pressure. Sudden swelling, headache and vision changes can be very serious

Okay I had the same issue at 35 weeks. I called my doc and they checked my blood pressure which was high. She sent me to labor and delivery just to be monitored for a few hours. I started having contractions while there but nothing consistent. They took a urine sample and blood sample but all of my labs came back normal and after being monitored for about two hours my blood pressure was back to normal. Most likely what’s happening is baby is flipping around and the current position the baby is in is putting pressure on that sides nerves/blood vessels which is causing the alarming swelling. I would call your doctor just to be checked. There is nothing wrong with making sure you and baby are healthy!  I’m 37 weeks now and I still have swelling from time to time but it has never been as bad as it was the day I was sent to hospital.

If you haven’t already, at least call. And maybe send a picture of yourself. I gained 12lbs water weight with my first babe in one week and got put on bed rest for high blood pressure. The headache is part of it- make sure you mention it on the phone. Could be nothing and you’re just swollen. But you want to be sure.

Compression socks might help quite a bit. But of course get checked by the doctor, compression socks are no help if it’s preeclampsia.

Have someone rub your calves, ankles and feet! It helps relieve it. Prop your feet up also.
For me, it helps to soak my feet in cold water with Epsom salts! Lavender helps the most, then I prop my feet up, chug water and have my husband rub my ankles, calves and feet. It's better within 30 minutes.
Are you on your feet a lot? Is it hot where you are? Have you been keeping up with fluids? If you're walking around, or sitting with your legs hanging down a lot, it can really give you bad swelling. So be careful!
If it doesn't go down with some R&R;, I'd go in.
