he has a kid? is that a red flag?

I honestly never thought I would be at this point in my life at 20 years old, but apparently I'm not a kid anymore lol 😂 I met this really nice guy. he's 23, has a full time job, super respectful, hilarious and just overall one of the coolest guys I've ever talked to. the only thing that worries me is he has a 3 year old son. he didn't keep it a secret at all, and has been super open about it which is a good sign to me. the thing that puts me off is he says how he wants me in his life and around his son. is that a red flag in any way? I have no idea how to handle a situation like this.
