How long did you wait to announce? Why?

I waited till after the scan at 12 weeks because I had a misscarrage before at 6wks, and I had told a lot of people, and then we had to say what happen, and I didn't that experience.

With my first I told family after first ultrasound, I was probably 14wks. Announced to the world at 19wks after gender scan. Currently just found out I'm pregnant. Will most likely do the same this time. My reason for waiting is because you never know what mat happen and I wanted to make sure everything is good before I told anyone. I'm a nervous wreck this time and hope this one sticks. I'm a nurse and I know too much so I'm Soo scared of all that can go wrong.
