It's been a long day and I'm finally getting around to making my post!

I woke up to go to the bathroom around 5:10 am when my water broke.

I woke up my husband. We got dressed, vehicle started, grabbed the hospital bags, & we were off to the hospital. I started to get intense contractions on our way there. By the time we arrived I was dialated to 5 cm and they could feel baby A's head.

It took them over 5 times to finally get my IV started. Once they got it started they wheeled me back to the OR room to prep me for a c-section (my choice to have one).

d into the world at 7:35 am, & Jariel (baby B) welcomed at 7:36 am.

It took them 5 mins to get her to start breathing, & him 2 mins. Pretty scary not hearing any crys!

By then I started to feel nausea and my blood pressure started to dropped. I was given almost 2 bags of blood, because of my blood loss. I have vomited several times after delivery.

Jenesis has been doing great! Jariel had some struggle breathing and also they had a hard time giving him a IV, so they ended up giving him one through his umbilical cord 😢. They were almost going to ship him to Des Moines if his breathing didn't get better. Thank you Jesus he is now off oxygen and doing better. He's still being monitored but doing good!

I was informed after the c-section that his placenta had a ruptured! Good thing I chosen a c-section!

Jenesis weighed 6 lbs 9.6 oz, was 19 1/2 inches long and Jariel 6 lbs 12 oz and 19 inches long.
