Carrying low=“early” delivery?

I have been told by so many people that I’m carrying low and won’t make it to my due date (2/13). I’m 32 weeks Tuesday and have noticed a bit more pressure around my lower pelvic region over the past couple of days. Just wondering if you carried low, did you have your baby early?

Ha - I wish! My son sat head down low in my pelvis THE ENTIRE PREGNANCY. I don’t think he ever got his head out of there once! I delivered at 40 + 4 so didn’t help me at all!

I carried my youngest daughter low and had her 3 days before her due date. It's an old wives tale so don't stress too much over it!

I carried soooo low with my first son. I was dilated to 3 cm for a few weeks before my due date and everyone told me the same thing. It made me anxious when my due date came and he still wasn’t here! I did go into very early labor (consistent Braxton Hicks like contractions) on my due date and they ended up giving me pitocin the next evening. He was born at 1 AM the second day after his due date. So hopefully carrying low will mean good things for you! But I wouldn’t worry about it either. 😊
