Workout for legs and butt?

I'm in the process of losing weight (hopefully a LOT of weight, which means I really need to tone. I've already lost over 20 pounds.) and I basically have no butt - I do, however, have pretty big thighs. They're probably my biggest insecurity at the moment and I was wondering if there are any good workouts (for beginners) that would tone my legs and sculpt my booty?

I already know, squats are suppose to be good but I want to get into an actual routine that I could do at home. Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
