Parker + Last Name = Disagreement

So my husband and I are expecting a little boy in March. I love the name Parker- it’s the last name of some family friends that would mean a lot to my family. Also I think it’s just a super cute name.

The problem is that my husband doesn’t like how it sounds with our last name.

Last name is Dehr (pronounced like “Dare.”)

So the name would be Parker Dehr.

Husband thinks people will only think “Park ‘er Dehr (There) when they hear his name.

Thoughts? Agree? Disagree?
