Implanon and Periods
I got inserted around the first week of November close to my period, which then lasted longer than usual. This month, my period was even longer, stopped for a day, and started back up. I got it to have safe sex, but being on my period this long is kinda putting a hold on things.
I've heard that you can eat certain food to up your estrogen levels and thought about giving that a try, but had anyone had a similar experience and been medicated to control the bleeding? I would rather go that route, but my concern for medication is it flaring up my acne as a side effect. When I was first inserted with implanon, my acne acted up every day until I found a good skin care routine that calmed it.
