Would you use handicap parking ?

If the vehicle you drive is under both your SO and your name and he is a disabled military vet and you are not.. would you still park in a handicap spot because the vehicle has disabled license plates ?

only if he was in the car with me, or i was there to pick him up somwhere. I would feel like shit if I used it and then saw someone who truly needed it walking from the way back of the parking lot

If he’s not with you, you’re taking the spot from someone who really needs it. Don’t be that guy. Please. You’d be upset if he needed the handicapped spot and you saw an able bodied person parking there for no reason.

My mom is handicapped, like literally only has one leg, and I will straight up ASK someone if they are disabled or not if they don’t look like it if they take a spot. It’s incredibly hard for my mom to just walk inside a store with her crutches to get a motorized scooter, let alone if it’s further from the handicapped spots... I always end up just having her park in front of the shops and let her go in, then I’ll park the car for her....

Yes, I would use it if he’s with me in the car. If not, then no. Disability investigators keeps close tabs on people with disability placards and license plates, depending on where one lives and if they don’t see the disabled individual with you, then they might come after you.

I have a handicapped sticker and I don’t get angry when I see people who aren’t handicapped using the spots. If I need to get out, my fiancé parks at the door, let’s me out then parks the car. I mean I personally don’t feel that it’s that serious. Parking spots are first come first serve anyway so what if all the spots are full because people who need them are using them. 
I also think it’s exceptionally rude to ask someone are they handicapped. It’s genuinely not your business if they are or are not. You can’t physically tell if someone has an autoimmunes. Crohn’s and Cancer aren’t always visible. The fact that people feel that they have that authority is disrespectful. Individuals need to learn that just because you’re going through something (like having a handicapped) does not mean that you get to do things like harass or antagonize others.
Don’t be the person that thinks that there handicapped loved one gives them the authority to question somebody. 
Example- I LOOK healthy. But let the day come and I’m parking my car and someone decides to ask me “Are you even handicapped?” I’m probably gone loose my shit. 🙃
