So we're having our first baby and me and my husband only told our parents after the first appointment at 8 weeks. All felt great because we didnt want to make it public yet but im 13 weeks now and my father wants me to share it with my uncle and other family he feels important.( I have to mention that I'm the eldest cousin in the family and the only one to have been married so far.) I'm on my nerves here because I feel that for a change, this is exclusively mine and my husband's prerogative to share the precious news with anyone at this early stage. I was irritated but I told my father I'll share it only with his brother since he meets him very often but not anyone else yet. He was offended. Do you think I'm overreacting or am I right to ask for my own rights? Any good suggestion would be welcome.
