Is it just me?
There is a line in “Last Christmas” that really bugs me for some reason. The line that says “This year, to save me from tears, I’ll give it to someone special.”. One day I was in my emotions about something while listening to the song (go figure) and I realized:
We always give our hearts to someone special...but when they give it away it’s because we have stopped being “special” to them.
