How important is looks to you?

So I've been talking to this guy and he seems nice and everything, but his looks aren't what I'd normally go for. He's definitely not ugly and he's very caring, but I was just wondering  how it important to you  it is compared to other factors ? I'm just worried what people will think since I have friends that are judgy and vocal about these things

the more important question is why you still have judgy friends? you shouldn't date someone based off what other ppl think bc they're not you and only you know what's best for you

Honestly once I fall for someone’s personality they become intensely attractive even if at first I didn’t think they were. So for me personality is way more important. If I don’t like who they are it doesn’t matter how “hot” they are it isn’t going to work. If I like who they are, physical attraction will follow so how they look doesn’t really matter.

going for someone for their looks is shallow. cute guys/gals are fun but at the end of the day, i want to go home with someone i can actually stand even when times are hard. looks are temporary. or you can change looks too. you cannot so easily change whats inside a person.

My friends are judgy 
I’ve always just done my own thing at the start they kinda talked shit about my boyfriend based on how he looked (he’s not ugly) but now they kinda have shut up because they see how happy I am and see how good my relationship is compared to the ones they get with more attractive guys 🤷🏽‍♀️
At the end of the day if you’re dating someone or with that that’s between you and them
If you ended up marrying the guy your friends aren’t going to be living with you and seeing you constantly so you want someone nice who makes you happy etc
