Might be thinking of going on birth control?

So this will be my first time going on birth control, but I’m stuck on which one I want to do. Should I just do the pill?

Talk to your doctor and be VERY honest with them. I’ve been through so many different types of BC for 5 years now. I just now found what is best for me. Listen to your doctor too. I wish I would have and I would have been on the IUD from the beginning. I personally love my IUD. I have the Paragard. There are no hormones, which my body hated with my other forms of BC, and I don’t have to think about taking it or going in for shots. I suggest looking into an IUD there is no maintenance and it was completely covered by my insurance. It will also last me 10 years.

Discuss your options with your gynecologist, or someone in planned Parenthood if you're in US. They will know your needs better than us. Ask them to explain all the options you have - there isn't only the pill, and even the pill have several different dosages. Then you decide.
