I’m on Trinessa and today I’m supposed to take the 8th day pill. As my doctor told me I started taking it on the first day on my period, he didn’t specify why, but I did some research and found out that it starts preventing pregnancy right away (It’s my first time taking birth control). The problem is I started the package wrong. It has 7 white pills, 7 light blue pills and 7 dark blue pills, plus the 7 placebo (thanks God I didn’t start there). I took one of the white ones my first day (the fifth one on the package) and continued to take them in the direction of the light blue ones. I know they have different amounts of hormones and all that, but does it affect the protection against pregnancy?
