Progesterone benefits??

Question

Has anyone had to take progesterone pills for early pregnancy and thought that it helped? Everything turn out okay? Experiences? Doctor said I am fine without it but if I felt comfortable taking it then he would let me. I have had a miscarriage before that is why taking this came up on the first place. So far everything is looking great this time! Just wanting to hear your experiences! 😘

I just got prescribed these today and I am suppose to take  (1) 200mg tablet 2x's a day, no direction on how far apart they need to be taken.

Yes! Not before I was pregnant!! But when I was about 6 weeks I started spotting bright red when I was pregnant with my daughter. I had an ultrasound done and he saw that the sac wasn’t separating from my uterus so he had my levels checked.. my progesterone was low so he had me start the supplements. And my little girl is 5 now ☺️☺️ the spotting stopped the same or next day

I took progesterone vaginally 3 times a day with my daughter for the first 13 weeks. I had low progesterone (low enough they thought I would miscarry) and she is now a happy healthy 15 month old. I would do it over again in a heartbeat. I am now pregnant with baby #2 but did not need progesterone as my levels were perfect. Good luck and congratulations!
