Legal to get bc

So I love in Texas and I was wondering what age I have to be to go get birth control on my own. I was honking once I turn 16 to go to the doctor by myself since I have confidentially as a person. I was wondering if any one else lives in texas and could help my situation out. My mom let me get on the pill but it doesn’t give me peace of mind when I have sex because it’s can be less effective or may not even work. Thank you ladies
