Can I drink?

Question

I was wondering with Christmas coming up if I can have a few drinks? I'm still nursing and my baby is 7 months old. I'm not talking getting drunk but maybe 2-3 drinks spaced out throughout the whole day. She won't take a bottle and even the little amount that she will drink from a sippy cup she still demands to nurse after and will scream at the top of her little lungs till I nurse her! I haven't had any alcohol yet because I figured it's best not to but at Christmas I'd like to if it's not going to hurt her.

This is going to sound crazy, but it was recommended to me to have a glass WHILE I nursed or shortly after, because by the time it hits your blood stream you'll be done nursing, and it'll be out of your system before baby is hungry again

as long as your not drunk when she wants the boob your fine a lil bit is ok heavily is a no go. and once it's out of your blood it's out of your milk to so don't bother pump n dumping unless you're plastered and tits need relief

You have to wait a certain. amount of time before it's out of your milk before nursing or you will just be giving her alcohol mixed milk. I forget exactly how long but I think it's 2 hours for every glass of wine you have so if you drink 2 glasses you're going to have to wait at least  4hours. It would be better to drink them closer together so youre not giving her trace amounts throughout the day. No amount of alcohol is ok for a baby so make sure it's out of your milk by buying the test strips that they have.

Nurse right before having a drink. I wouldn't have more than two. That way lots of it will be out of your system before needing to nurse again. 
Just FYI- there is some conflicting info out there about if you can or can't drink while BF. AAP says to wait two hours after a (single) drink to BF again.
