I noticed it about a year after I was on the nuvaring and it wouldn’t happen every time but the majority of the time. Some times it would be heavy bleeding and other times light. My cervix became VERY friable (dr couldn’t even swab it without it bleeding quite a bit). She was skeptical that it was the nuvaring but after switching to Kyleena(IUD) I haven’t had any problems. At my month checkup my cervix had completely healed and she even swabbed it to check its friability and it was perfectly fine! I was so self conscious about it and I was so happy the first time I had sex after and I didn’t bleed—FINALLY!! Let me know!
