Im 37 weeks pregnant with a baby girl. At my 19 week scan I was told she had a slightly enlarged kidney. We went back for a follow up ultrasound a month later and her kidney was fine. We’ve had multiple ultrasounds since then and they have all showed that her kidneys are perfect. We had an ultrasound yesterday and they said her kidney is slightly dilated. My doctor said that with how far along I am and how my fluids have been great all along she really has no concern at all. She ordered another ultrasound for 2 weeks just as standard precaution. But I am absolutely stressing out and can’t stop crying. What could this possibly mean?
