I’ve always dated boys. Never even seemed slightly interested in girls. One day this girl messaged me on Snapchat and we started talking (sexting and swapping pics). We talked quite a bit while she was on vacation and then when she had to come back and go to work, she talked less and less, understandable. I still told her I wish we could talk more though. She became distant and I tried so hard to maintain a conversation and then she would come back and be interested again. We were going to meet up and spend the weekend together and go have fun, but we never did. Of course, she slowly disappeared again. But I tried so hard to just be her friend, even if we did not have any sort of sexting or any of that and I told her that. We go to the same college and we agreed to meet up one day, and we hung out. I was excited, but she didn’t talk much. We went back to my room and I offered her a seat, but she told me that she needed to go. I was really bothered by that and so I texted her and asked her why and she said she was uncomfortable. After that, we just kept growing more and more distant. I still tried to be her friend, but she would only respond like once or twice and then leave me on read. Eventually, I just had to delete her because I felt like I was bothering her. I unfollowed her on everything. She still follows me on social media. Do you all think I was too over barring? What went wrong?
