Long post to explain the situation. My due date is tomorrow (12/22) and all my checks have shown NO dilation or effacement. My doctor will be out of town next week and wants to induce me tomorrow on my due date. Im ready, excited and anxious for babies arrival, but I just always envisioned this on babies time and clearly my body just isn't ready.

However, if I don't induce tomorrow and don't go naturally somehow next week (with another doctor-but that doesn't bother me), we have to wait until 1/31 to induce 😳 idk if I can wait that long and doctor warned that's just asking for a C-section because baby will be too big. What should I do????

I'm not even that miserable, planned to wait until the 26th to induce...but clearly I'm on the doctors time table and it's so frustrating! If I induce tomorrow before any dilation I'm increasing C-section risk, if I have to wait til the 31st I'm really increasing the risk...and he doesn't seem to like my answer when I second guess what he wants to do. 😔 HELP! Looking for advice for those who have gone from 0-labor quickly, or those who have induced successfully with no prior progress.
