Cysts

Meghan

I had my first ER visit ever yesterday with what the doctors think was an ovarian cyst. This is the second supposed cyst I’ve had and one doctor at the hospital looked it up and said it is a known side effect of the Mirena.

Do I have to change my birth control now?

My family’s in a rough financial spot and the copays are really high for going to the gyno. I thought I was all set as far as spending $$ on birth control for the next 5 years and I really don’t want to switch.

I’m going back to my gyno because chronic cysts that make me pass out from pain aren’t something I want for the next 5 years, but with the holidays plus books for the new semester, it’s gonna suck money wise. AND I have to cut my shifts back to 3 or 4 days to make time for homework. I don’t know what to do but this just sucks. 😪
