Baby Alone?

My baby girl is 2 months old and she fights her sleep day and night. Is it okay for me to leave my 2 month old alone in her crib for a nap and when it's time for her to go to bed? Am I wrong for leaving her alone...

Yes, you're wrong. That's too young for her to self-soothe. You are responsible for calming her to sleep. Yes, it's hard. Doesn't mean you don't need to do it.

Mine does too hun. It's hard as hell but she is just too young right now. She literally won't have the ability to self soothe until she is about 4-5 months old and even then they aren't great at it. Talk with your pediatrician and as about the Ferber method and ask if it would be at all appropriate for your child and most importantly WHEN you could start if you decided to try it. (Trying to give you a better comment/suggestion other than berating you for your question. We are all just trying to survive this parenting thing and I'm just as exhausted too. My son hates sleeping I swear! But I love him to death and will keep on being exhausted until he figures it out. I hope it's soon though!)

I’d say it’s probably too soon for that. You could try maybe sitting down somewhere in the room where she can’t see you just for 5 minutes or so to see if it helps? I wouldn’t leave her completely on her own though, definitely keep an eye on her from very close by. Also if she’s crying uncontrollably then no, definitely don’t leave her alone at all, try to soothe her. I’m sure it’s hard now but hopefully it’s just a phase that she’ll grow out of soon, it’ll be okay to leave her and try self soothing in a few months but for now it wouldn’t be a very good idea
