Apple confirms slowing down phones..

I was watching the news this morning, and they had a story confirming the apple rumors/conspiracies.

I remember seeing a post about if we believed it to be true or not, so I’m kinda piggy backing off that.

Anyway, the news reported today that apple does in fact slow older phones down. Their excuse was so that the battery would still be compatible with the network. And you can “easily” “exchange” the battery out for a “small” price of $79 if u don’t want to upgrade.

Now here’s the problem, typically an upgrade cost less than $70 and no more than about $65 so either way, the wiser decision would be to just get the upgrade. The problem there is consumers are still having to come out of pocket more each year for a “usable” phone.

My question to y’all is, do u think it really is the battery, or is that just yet another excuse to get people to buy the newest model?
