Can you see your uterus in an ultrasound for your ovaries?

So I had an ultrasound to check my ovaries for any cysts. The tech didn't say much although I was curious about what all I was looking at and what she was doing. I could definitely see my bladder because it was full and that was all she pointed out to me. The ultrasound was done externally. I also heard a heartbeat, which I can only assume was my own lol. She didnt say anything about it, even though I was curious because I've never heard my heartbeat in an ultrasound before and I've had a few. Would she have been able to see my uterus if she was focusing on my ovaries? Or is my uterus lower? Sorry, I'm just curious as to if that's what I was looking at, and if for some surprising reason I was pregnant if she would've been able to see it if she wasn't looking for it. Just curious. Thanks!
