My husband bought us 100 level tickets to his NHL team a month or so ago. As the world always works, our poor daughter (20 months) caught a cold 2 days before! I'm stuck with the mommy dilemma of whether to stay home, or to still go out.

She doesn't have a fever, she is just gagging on post nasal drip a few times during the day. She is eating and drinking as usual, playing fine, really she seems exactly the same as any other day except she is a little sneezy with occasional clear snot drips and the aforementioned gagging. The one thing that's making me wondering is sleeping however. The game is in the city and wont end until 10-11 and it takes us an hour to get back home from then. Well past her bed time. She has been waking up the past two nights about every thirty minutes because she's gagging on the post nasal drip (we've done saline spray and humidifier, it only helps a little) and she cries and has to be settled. Our babysitter is my MIL who is very loving an patient and she is telling us to go and that daughter will be just fine. (For reference, we are living with my ILs while we are remodeling our house) Should I just stay at home with her tonight and scrap the game?? This is my first time having to deal with this as we never really go out and daughter rarely gets sick :(
