I posted earlier, but my son ( 8 months) has the stomach flu, or what ever bug is going around. I had it last week and I was in bed and didn't eat for 4 days. Luckily my son is in good spirits, and other than a horrible diaper rash from the diarrhea doesn't seem too uncomfortable. But, his last diaper change there was blood/mucus in the poop. I feel terrible for him. Called the pediatrician (waiting for a call back), but what can they even do? He is nursing as much as usual but I am staying away from solids because it makes the diarrhea worse. Any similar experinces? I do not want him so sick, especially for his first Christmas 🙁
