I got an iud placed in May and since then I’ve had quite a few cysts that have ruptured. I went to the doctor for the first one because I thought my iud might have perforated my uterus. They told me all was well with it and did an ultrasound to find out what was wrong. They told me I had a cyst that “exploded”. I’ve gotten similar pains since and just assume that it’s another cyst and will only go to the doctor again if the pain gets worse.

I’m just wondering if I’ve been getting them so often because I have an iud. I do have endometriosis so I’m thinking I might have just attributed the pain of prior cysts to that. Should I go in to talk to my doctor about it?
