Can newborn sleep on this?

My 9 day old newborn refuses to sleep in his pack and play.. the only place he kind of likes is the portable napper.. I know they're suppose to sleep in a flat surface but he won't sleep at all.. the minute I put him down he'll cry.. how can I get him to sleep in his pack and play? Or can he sleep on this napper? it's the one on the left...

I had a pack and play like this and my son slept in the attachable sleeper part until he got to big for it and then I moved him to the actual pack and play part until we got a crib

NOT worth the risk. I’d rather go sleepless while he learns to sleep where he can sleep safely

That is exactly how my little guy slept for the first 2 months. At night and during the day. I’d just pick it up and take it all over the house, or put it on the floor and bounce it with my foot. But beware, sleeping at an incline contributed to his flat head. I had I switch him to a flat sleeping service at 2 months because of his head and it took forever to correct. They nearly put him in a helmet

My son will only sleep in his bouncer. He is almost 3 weeks old and his dr said that is fine. He hates laying flat and will not sleep in the pack and play or cradle.

My son spent in that tell he was to big.  He would not spent is the pack n play.  It was the portable sleeping (bassinet) , rock n play, or mommy and daddy arms.

He can take naps in this... it’s what it is for... I have the exact same one... unfortunately my LO waited until she was almost too big for it to like lol

I would sleep him in that because it's not flat it's just not safe his chin could go down and cut off his breathing keep trying somewhere flat he will sleep when he's tired enough
