38 week check today

We went to the doctor this morning for our last ultrasound before our little boy's due date on January 6. Doc did a pelvic exam, which I was expecting.

What I didn't expect was learning that my pelvis is very narrow and our son is already over 7 lbs. The doctor told me that if I have any chance of avoiding a C-section, we need to get him out before he gets much bigger. After a lot of discussion, we decided to induce me on December 31.

I'm feeling so many conflicting emotions. I'm so excited that I'm going to have my son next weekend. But I feel awful for being a little upset that I'm getting induced. I just hope this is the right decision for my son and myself.
