I don't think dating is an issue, but if you're planning on more than just dating I would probably discuss this with your ex partner beforehand so you know they aren't going to do something. You may be seperated but if you aren't divorced then sleeping with other people is still legally adultery, which means if your ex is just a huge peice of shit they can sue you or the person you slept with and make a lot of money due to 'Emotional distress'

I think the divorce should be legal before a person should date again, but it's also an agreement between separated husband/wife and separated husband/wife.

I dated while I was legally separated, our divorce took a while and I didn’t see a problem with it. I was very upfront on who I was going on a date with about it too.

Is that a part of the agreement? Also, are you just testing the waters with dates or sleeping with other people? I’d say don’t sleep with them but if the agreement is ok to see what life is like without the other person then sure you can go on dates. And I mean if you’re just separated until the divorce is final but the divorce is in the works then yeah go on dates.
