Hiccups?!?!

How often is it normal for a newborn (5 day old ) to get hiccups... and what’s the best way to make them go away

Yes it’s normal. Nothing you can do. It’s a normal part of lung development

My newborn always seemed to have the hiccups during her first two months. She doesn't get them as much now at 4.5 months. I don't think there is anything you can do but I do think they bothered me more than they ever bothered her. I don't think it even registers to them as a problem.
