Is anyone nervous about announcing too soon still? This is my first and I'll be 11 weeks on Christmas Eve. I'd really like to make our public, fb announcement, but I'm just not sure if it's too soon.

You announce when you are comfortable .. I am announcing on Christmas Day and will be 11w4d .. even my doctor said it’s when you are comfortable, he said this isn’t to scare you but something could happen at any time.

I’m doing it for christmas only to my parents and in laws. For everyone else, they can figure it out on their own when they see my belly 🤷🏻‍♀️🤰🏻 none of their business

I'm nervous about it but i think mainly because so many people say not to... I'll be 10 weeks xmas day and we are thinking about announcing on social media on new years (announcing to our BIG family at xmas dinner). i think it's whatever you feel comfortable with. i also just feel like we should feel comfortable and open sharing our joy, and not live in fear feeling scared of or ashamed of having a potential miscarriage.  if you're typically a private person you may feel more comfortable waiting, but i want the support system whether for better or worse. 😘

We just told at 12 weeks 5 days. I was still worried though, because me telling involved telling my classroom of 7/8 year olds. They are very excited, but even if anything were to happen, I think they could handle it. That makes me feel better at least. It's when you are comfortable! I was asked how I could keep it a secret for as long as I did, and I have no idea! It helped that I slowly told family and friends first. Good luck! Do what makes you hapoy!

I'm right there with you...12w 2d...I keep wanting to announce and then deciding I don't want to jinx it or something. I think we have settled on the idea of sharing the news with a broader level of friends (we've told close friends and family) via a nice email with pictures and holding off on social media until we REALLY feel like it.
