Ok ladies.... so I made myself wait till Saturday... which is the HAREST thing to do (as many of you already know). I waiting for AF to arrive. Decided to play the game chicken with her. So this morning we got up and got the boys ready to hand off to their dad. And let me tell you, holding your morning pee for 1hr is hard. Lol. So they left and my bf and I looked at each other and I said, I need to pee. We both ran up stairs. Door open with me on the toilet peeing in a cup and him with the test package in hand. I sat there for a min and said well here goes nothing AF, I call your bluff. Took the dropper (which by the way... the dollar store tests work great for $1) grabbed some pee and started dropping a few drops at a time into the little hole. As we both sat there eagerly looking at the test watching the color change as it goes down the strip. The second line shows up nice and strong. We sat and waited... then, the first line started to show up faintly. We looked closer... and there it was, getting darker, the first line, screaming at us... POSITIVE.. my bf face looked like he wanted to cry. He gave me the biggest kiss (and of course I throw in there, I was gonna grab your face and kiss you but I’m not sure you want me to do that after peeing on a cup and putting it on the test) we laughed. We are beyond happy but also shocked to the point where it’s unreal. But give it a few months when I start showing and feeling the baby move reality will really set in. Thank you all for your positive thoughts and baby dust that was sent my way!! Here’s to 2018! Now it’s to wait for the sex of the baby!
