Just got depo, what to expect?

Question

I just got mg first shot of depo-provera 2 days ago on the 4th day of my period. Which according to my gynecologist is the best time to do it. Anyhow, what should I expect for the next 3 months. I go back in February for my second shot. I mean I do expect some spotting but I'm nervous as what normally happens. I'm 16, never been pregnant, and have regular periods that last 5 days and happen approximately every 29 days. What should I expect?

I hated the shot. After getting it it's stopped my period 2 days early gave me a week off and then I bled for the whole 3 months straight. Ruined my sex life with my bf. Never again.

I've been on Depo on and off the last 7 years. I did have some spotting but after getting my second shot nothing. I don't get my period, I don't have any weight gain(some people do have alot of weight gain) I don't get mood swings. but it is different for everyone

my friends hair fell out, and she gained weight.  she got pregnant on it. another friend, has been having trouble ttc after she was on it.

my close friend got it and her hair fell out, she gained weight, and was on her period for 3 months. and if not 3 months then she would bleed very long and have 2 days off. crazy spotting when she wasn't on her period.
