How do you know if your cervix is open?

My birth control stops my period so I want to track my cervical position to help me noticed and changes. I just don’t know exactly what it’s supposed to feel like when it’s “open”. Right now it is hard but I can feel a definite indent that and can nestle my fingertip in. I definitely won’t do it, but it feels like I could push my finger in their if I really tried.

I recently just started trying to record mine as well and i've been asking the same question and well for the last week or two ive noticed that after ur menstrual the cervix is lower easy to get to and it feels like it could be pinched off like a pair of lips and then like a two days later it even easier to reach but starting to be more open... now im on Cycle Day 11 and mine is higher witch is harder to reach and i notice that i can possibly push mine in there as well im gonna say u probably. Just started ur fertile window good luck 😀
