Announcement from Hell

So today my husband and I were getting excited about telling our parents and grandparents about the coming of our first born. We had shipped our a picture with our announcement themed specifically for Christmas. we were goinf to tell my folks on Christmas eve and everyone else on Christmas Day. Unfortunately while I was at work, I got a call from my grandfather saying congratulations. He had opened his gift 2 days early, despite my plea for waiting to open his gift until Christmas day. I was then informed that my other grandparents had opened theirs as well in front of my parents. So now the secret was out and the family knew. The only person left to tell was my husband's mother. So we told her via Skype, while I was at work. Since then we've gotten another call from my husband's grandmother saying she also didn't wait and asked who she could all tell. IT ISN'T ANYONE'S RIGHT TO TELL OTHER THAN OURS. AND EVERYONE BASICALLY RUINED CHRISTMAS.
