Morning sickness or HG?!?!

I'm not sure what I'm suffering with... I've been being sick since the 13th of December now when i was around 6 weeks, I'm 8 weeks today. It doesn't matter what I eat I'm sick. It can be anywhere upto 4/5 times a day. I'm absolutely starving but can't keep anything down. However I can keep water down until I'm that hungry I am gagging up bile/water (usually the morning). I was prescribed cyclizine hydrochloride but I take them and they seem to be making the sickness worse and I've lost 5lb in weight in about a week. I feel like I'm just being dramatic but I feel so hungry and sick and tired, I'm back at the Drs in 2 weeks time. However all I want to do is eat but physically can't. Unsure whether it's just morning sickness or worse than that....

If you feel like you’re getting dehydrated, go to the hospital and get some fluids. They can also give you anti nausea meds through an IV that might help. I was severely sick like this, starting at the same time, 6 weeks. The doctors considered it morning sickness until about 20 weeks when at that point, I was still very ill and had lost 20+lbs since becoming pregnant. I had also been to the hospital twice for fluids. It’s definitely miserable. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Diclegis, it didn’t work for me though. I took Zofran on and off, but it didn’t work very well and I was worried about the effects it could have on the baby so I avoided it. My sickness lessened in my third trimester, but I still threw up multiple times a day through labor. The second he was born, I never puked again 😲 Good luck. I know how miserable it is. I hope it’s just severe morning sickness and doesn’t last your entire pregnancy.
