Did you give your kids vitamin d drops while breastfeeding? Her pediatrician advised us to buy every time i due my baby girl is soooooo gassy and uncomfortable. Please let me know....

No...Totally unneeded. Take your lo outside for 10 mins every day. Their body will produce all the vitamin d it needs in that time for the day.

Yes, I am exclusively breastfeeding my son and I am giving him vitamin D drops.

I used them and they cause my daughter so much pain and discomfort she would cry foe hours non stop, as soon as I figured out they were causing it I stopped them. I was so furious I was not told they could cause so much pain because I would not have even chanced it. I feel we were made to breast feed so the vitamin D must not be critical because our bodies are made for this!!

I use them and they didn't bother my daughter, are you sure it's the drops upsetting your baby? My daughter was really gassy and spit up a lot until I cut back on dairy.

My pediatrician told me to give my newborn vitamin D drops. The ones I bought are tasteless and only require ONE DROP per day. Check them out on amazon.

i take 5000IU per day myself. but my sons pediatrician gave me a bottle and says i need to give it to my son also. i finished his bottle and have to buy it again. he takes it fine. i taste the baby drops. its sweet. its vrry easy to give

Take your baby outside to get some real Vit D or sit by a window. You don't have to give them if you have adequate time outside and live in an area with sun.
