Father's bonding

I need some advice. Every time I ask my husband to watch our son he quickly puts him in the swing or bassinet. He never does tummy time and even when I ask him to try to do an activity he quickly calms our son done and puts him down. Is this normal? He seems disinterested in playing with our kid.
