History or not???

So my bf asked me about partners that I was with before him and I told him about a couple men because I didn't feel the need to give him my entire history. We've been dating for nine months now, and out of nowhere he calls me asking me about this specific guy and exactly what we done together. I explained to him that my past has nothing to do with him? I've been loyal to him, and I've never doubted anything that he has told me about himself. I've given him an fair chance. He said that he got some info from some guy who knows of me. I replied to him by asking him if he wanted to continue this relationship. Am I wrong for not telling him my history or is he absolutely wrong for listening to someone else????
