Negative OPKs, but BBT rise

I've been testing for ovulation every day at 1pm, and have been getting negatives, but the second line is getting darker every day. Yesterday morning (CD 13), my BBT rose, which is why I tested for ovulation twice because I wasn't sure why it rose without a + OPK. My BBT was still up this morning. Has anyone else experienced a BBT spike, indicating ovulation has taken place, without getting a + OPK?
