They are just making an educated guess, incredibly rare that they'll say they know 100% for sure.

back in 2006 I was told my whole pregnancy it was deffinatly a little girl , well c section time came and doc gets baby out and says well it's not a beautiful baby girl but..... long pause "it's a hardy little boy" lol at 16 me and hubs were mortified lol our son had pink everything for the first 3 months of his life rotfl and a pink carseat , my last 3 kids though they have gotten all correct though , we still laugh about it to this day (We did get our little girl though

I was told I was having a boy and then a few weeks like “it’s a girl actually” we had a gender reveal and everything then had to tell everyone it’s actually a girl. I guess we will see when i deliver! I’m 38 / 5
