for me it depends on the day.
some days I feel great and others it's horrible. so I just have to gauge which one it is before I go

Depends on who's there.  it usually makes it worse for me though.  I end up awkwardly standing in a corner or off to the side.  it's emotionally draining and I never know what to say.  But now I'm almost 32 with no friends so it might be worth it to try.  You can always leave and you might regret not going.
