What made you decide you were ready to start trying?

No judgement here. Whatever your reason or lack of, gut feelings, etc. share with the class!

I always wanted to have children, I just wanted to "live my life" before having to put little ones first (Finish school, find a career, travel, do wtv I want with my partner, sleep in lol). I would pinpoint an age where I'd try, but as the age came closer I was either still single or had goals I still wanted to achieve first. 
My boyfriend and I have been together for 3.5yrs. He was ready in year 1 but I wanted to be with him at least 2yrs to make sure I really got to know him before committing to a shared child. My mom said "It takes 2 years for tge crazy to show itself" lol. But yeah... he proved himself nonetheless but there was still no rush, it was nice for it to be just us 2 and cats. The calm before the storm...
We just turned 28 & 29 (Me 29), so I said I think we should start trying since I'll be 30 next year. I know the older you get, the more chances there are for certain conditions & I already have 2 autistic brothers who have different fathers. I've also been seeing many women my age or younger struggle with TTC so I thought I better not wait too late in case it takes 2-3 years...

My IUD was giving me a little pain so we chose to get it removed early. I've had baby fever for a while though!!

I have always wanted a baby. My SO and I have been together for 7 years. He's always been off and on about having kids but the last 2 years he said he just wasn't ready. Right after Thanksgiving, after our family had left he sat me down and said he's ready. Ready for that next step in our lives, I am beyond elated, and he's more than ready to be a dad now.

I have always wanted to be a Mum. For as long as I can remember! We have a very close family and my Mum is really loving so I have always wanted to be the loving Mum that my beautiful Mum is! And I also just feel emotionally ready. 
For my parter, he grew up in a broken home. His father passed away when he was just 2 years old and his mother left her kids for drugs. My partner was raised in foster car and I think he is just longing to know what a father/son/daughter relationship and to know how it’s feels to have a family.

I always wanted a baby ever since I was really young but it never worked out, I’m now 27 settled we got our home together and been together for 3 years it just felt right, it took 15 months ttc I’m now on week 7 so a long way to go!
