Are You getting a car seat travel system or bassinet with stroller?

Both 🤷‍♀️ with both of our babies we used/will use a travel system that has both a bassinet and seat option depending on the age of the baby, but our car seat also clicks on to the stroller base which is super convenient when they fall asleep in the car and you don’t want to wake them to move them. With my first we went with the bugaboo chameleon, but with this one we got the uppababy vista because it can be a double stroller. I have only heard amazing things about he City select though which has all the same features at a lower price point.

I loved having my stroller with my bassinet piece. It was always nice to have baby be able to be comfortable in her carriage able to stretch out and be cozy while out. Plus you can detach the bassinet and bring it in places if needed. I’m on my third and Used bassinet carriages with my first two.

My midwife told me to max use the car seat for 1-1.5hours at the time. And never for sleeping/napping, of course with the exception if he falls asleep in the car(use common sense basically) 
Most strollers here are only sold with a bassinet part and a sitting part. It’s rare to see the car seat on the stroller frame.

I got an Evenflo travel system that includes both. The seat goes down into a bassinet. Also the capsule straps straight into the frame. It’s the best purchase I have made for my baby. So there are lots of different configurations. Strongly recommend it.

we are getting the silver cross wave. We have 4 kids already and plan to have 2 more. Plus We are the first of our family to have kids with 5 and 3 other brothers and sisters we could let some of them use it too and maybe still have it around for grandkids. i love that I can have our little baby in the top near me and our bigger child (3) sit in front and watch what's going on. Plus it comes with the bassinet from the start. but you have to buy the extra seat for 350. and the main purchase is 1250. We are getting it from Albee baby because of their rewards program.

We have a Nuna Mixx with the Pipa car seat and it’s wonderful. The seat of the Mixx turns into a flat bassinet, but we usually keep our son in his car seat for our daily walks (2-4miles).

You can buy car seats that lay flat and can be placed on frame and used as a pram. Ideal for longer car journeys and don’t need a separate pram.

I have a very nice bassinet/stroller set from my first and plan to buy a car seat with adapters for my stroll frame. It’s not good to place your newborn into car seat for too long.

we got both. we have a car seat and a snap n go for quick walks and a stroller with a basinet for longer walks and for sleeping in at night.
