Ovulation tests pick up hgc?

I've read on here that they do. Is that true? What are the details- how much hgc do you have to have for it to pick it up?

It's possible but the only way you'd know is if the test is a straight positive like both line are equally dark or the control line is darker when your period is late.

They don’t pick up HCG perse, rather LH and HCG are very similar molecularly, so the opk will show positive with HCG. BUT, you should not use them as pregnancy predictors as you may be setting yourself up for disappointment...One, the test has to be a solid positive and by the time this happens you would get a positive pregnancy test. Two, you will get a second LH surge 1-3 days before your period to halt progesterone production and ready the uterine lining for shedding if you are not pregnant. Just go get a prego test.
