Should I be okay?

I started my period last Tuesday, Sunday was the last day so I'm no longer on my period but that Tuesday I started to get some slight itching "downstairs", well the itching would come and go even after I showered, so I know I was and am clean! I thought I was getting a yeast infection but with Christmas eve and day I couldn't make a Dr appt. I also never used monistat because the itching was tolerable. I've had like once or twice w hwre it was bad itching and swelled a little due to the itching and burned when I peed but after that, I've been okay, aside from slight itching that comes and goes and is still doing it. Would it be okay if I had sex? I want to be able to by Friday night.. Please help!
