I've always wondered what's it's like to have your birthday be on the same day as a major holiday. Do you or anyone you know have a holiday birthday? Which one? 🤷 Do you get more or less gifts? What are your traditions? 🤔

Brothers birthday is Halloween. Thats was fun growing up. We always had big costume parties.

My son’s birthday is on St Patrick’s Day. He gets normal amount of gifts. The way we celebrate St Patrick’s day 🍀🍻 is not ideal for kids. Lol. My grandfather is 1/4 Irish and the rest West Indian(St Croix) I guess we fit both stereotypes because Irish and West Indians like to drink. 😄

My SO’s is 12/30. It’s one of the 2 million reasons why I hate his mother. I don’t combine them because his family always did growing up and he just doesn’t understand that a birthday is YOUR special day not everyone’s. So I buy him presents and stuff for both days but it’s rough because it’s all in one paycheck (and I have to think crap up) and I usually end up feeling like I give him less for his birthday than he gives me because we’re still hungover from Christmas.

My best friend’s birthday is Christmas Day, so we celebrate her birthday on June 25th.

My dad is 12/28. His birthday always gets lumped in with Christmas. My mom sometimes likes to be a jerk and save the one thing he asked for for Christmas until his bday. My grandparents apparently used to do that to him too. Would be mean for a child, kind of funny as an adult.
